Any GOLFER that has not turned in his polo must do so as soon as possible.

Attention HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER PLAYERS. We will have pick up on the turf today and Wednesday immediately following school from 12-2pm. Come on out and get a touch on the ball.

SUMMER WRESTLING workouts will be on Mondays & Wednesdays from 6pm until 7:30 pm and open to middle school & high school students from 7th grade through 12th grade. Also, the Gateway wrestling team will hold a CAR WASH fundraiser at the Westville Fire House on Saturday, June 22nd from 10 am until 2pm.  Please come out and support our team.

 

Attention Seniors:  If you did not pick up your SENIOR CLASS T-SHIRT, please stop by room 215 to get it.  We are all going to wear our t-shirts on Thursday!  Good luck on finals and we will see you at graduation!

 

A message from Coach Duncan: Any athlete who wants to begin speed training and jump training along with good conditioning should plan to attend SUMMER WEIGHT TRAINING! SUMMER WEIGHT TRAINING will begin on June 24 from 3 to 5 PM.  For football players you will work from 3-5 and then 5-7. Enjoy the last few days and we look forward to training every athlete starting June 24. Have a great summer!

 

ATTENTION ALL HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES: The FALL SPORTS physical paperwork is due July 26th and must be submitted on time if you intend to start practice on August 19 for the official Fall 2013 season.  See Mr. Raba with any questions.

 

Attention all middle school students:  Registration for the GATOR BASKETBALL CAMP will remain open until the first day of camp on July 15th, walk ups are welcome.  Please see Coach Gooding in room 109, Coach Abed in Room 210, or visit www.gatewayhs.com for a registration form.  The camp is open to boys and girls in grades 7 and 8.  Submit your registration form before June 15th to guarantee your camp t-shirt.  Registration after June 15th will be accepted, but a camp t-shirt cannot be guaranteed.

 

ATTENTION JUNIORS: Senior portrait dates for the Class of 2014 will be on July 16 and July 17, 2013 in the auditorium.  You will receive your appointment letter in the mail directly from Lors Studio.  SAVE THE DATES!

 

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS AND ATHLETES:  As the school year comes to an end, please remember to return all clean uniforms to your coach in a bag marked with your name.  Any library book or other items that you used or borrowed must be returned to the appropriate teacher.  Fine letters will be going out soon.  Diplomas will not be issued and report cards will not be mailed home if you have any outstanding obligations.

 

Congratulations to the Senior girls Powder Puff team on their 7-0 win over the Juniors in yesterday's highly anticipated contest. The game was back and forth and remained scoreless until the last six minutes when the seniors executed a running play and found the end zone.

Special thanks goes out to the cheerleaders for their enthusiasm, the officials, Mr. James and Mr. Cunning, the coaches, Mr. Bastien and Mrs. Kane, and to Mr. DiCicco and Mr. Harris for their help as well.

Cheerleaders:  Please return your uniforms and pom poms to Mrs. Kane in Room 407 by tomorrow. Do not make her hunt you down!

 

To all students in grades 7-12.  As you may have already heard, Mrs. Joniec and her family are relocating to Florida this summer and she will not be at Gateway next year.  She wishes all of you the best of luck in your futures and hopes all of your dreams come true.

 

 

LOST AND FOUND:  A silver ring in the shape of a heart was found in the 400 wing.  Stop by the main office to claim.
