MEETINGS, NEWS AND EVENTS:

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL will meet TODAY during "A" lunch in Miss Layng's Room 214.  Please bring your lunch.

 

The Winter Cheerleading Squad is SELLING VALENTINE'S LOLLIPOPS! These adorable heart shaped lollipops and are only .50 cents.  They are available before and after school from Mrs. Busch, Ms. Mangiocco, or any cheerleader! Get yours today to share with that special someone before February 14th!

SUPERBOWL TRAYS:  If you ordered a veggie trays or pepperoni & cheese tray from Project Graduation, remember pick up is Saturday from 10AM to 11AM!

 

Starting next Monday, the JUNIOR CLASS WILL BE SELLING FLOWERS for you to send to that special someone, a friend or someone you secretly admire.  Orders will be taken all week in lunch.  Flowers are $3 a piece.  Flowers will be delivered, shockingly enough on Valentine's Day.  Any questions, see Kyle Abed or Mr. Covely.

 

Students in Action, Student Council, Rachel's Challenge and FCCLA will be sponsoring a WINTER SEMI-FORMAL on Saturday, March 3rd from 7-10.  The dance is open to all students in grades 9-12.  Guests from other schools may attend but a Guest Form must be filled out prior to purchasing your tickets.  Food and drinks will be provided.  All proceeds will benefit a local family.  Tickets will be sold beginning on Monday, February 6th.   See Miss Layng with questions.

 

Beginning Monday the Middle School Student Council will be COLLECTING NEW AND GENTLY USED BOOKS for the Woodbury Child Development Center.  The collection will run until Feb. 21.  Books will be collected in homeroom or they can be dropped off to Miss Layng in 214.

 

Attention WINTER CHEERLEADERS:  The lollipops are here.  Please stop by room 207 to pick up your bag to sell.

 

NEW LIBRARY HOURS: The library WILL NOT be open during A Lunch for the remainder of the year.

 

Attention all athletes:  SPRING SPORTS SIGN UPS are Wednesday at 2:45pm in the following locations: Boys tennis in ROOM 209; Girls Lacrosse in Cafeteria; Baseball in the Cafeteria; Softball in the middle school gym; Girls track in high school health room; Boys track in the middle school health; Golf in ROOM 405.

 

Attention Middle School Students:  Our cafeteria is sponsoring a CULINARY COMPETITION! Submit your entry form with your favorite healthy breakfast recipe for the Future Chefs competition before the February 8th deadline. There will be a live competition here on March 28 and a chance to move on to the national competition.  Check in the cafeteria, main office or Mrs. Muller for entry forms or more details.  

 

WESTVILL LITTLE LEAGUE SIGN UPS will be held on February 2nd and 16th from 6-8pm and
February 11th and 25th from 11-1pm.  Registration for First child $75, Second child $65, Third or more $55 each.  After these dates all players registering will be $100 per player.

4PM Girls varsity basketball at Camden Charter

5:30 Boys varsity basketball at Camden Charter

10AM      Tri-meet against Deptford, Holy Spirit at Clayton

 

LOST AND FOUND: A pink sequin pocketbook and gold chain have been turned into the main office.  Stop by to claim.

 

MENU FOR TODAY:

Shepherd’s Pie, Grilled Chicken, Cheese Burgers, Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Made to Order and Grab and Go Salads and Wraps.  New Items on the Deli Bar: Thai Chicken Wrap;
Chicken Wrap with Provolone Roasted Peppers and Ranch Dressing; Popeye Wrap with Spinach, Grilled Chicken, Provolone and Ranch Dressing; Pear Salad with Gorgonzola cheese.

 

Remember BREAKFAST is served from 7:15 AM to 7:45AM for the regular price of $2.00.  They are plenty of delicious and nutritious choices to start your day off right.
