ANNOUNCEMENTS

Juniors PSAT sign up is now available in guidance. If you are a current junior and are planning on attending a 4-year college you should take the PSAT again at Gateway on October 15th to see where you skills are and what you might need to improve on. Junior year is also the only time you can be eligible for National Merit Scholarships.

Please come out and join the LIGHT on Today, Tuesday, September 30 after school in room 416.  We are a group that seeks to encourage each other and lift up our school and community.  We are a lot like your church's youth group and would love to see you!   Everyone is welcome. See Mrs. Wenner in room 416 with any questions.

Congratulations to Mrs. Valeski, Middle School Staff Member of the Week. Mrs. Valeski's strength is her compassion for students and teachers and having the unique ability to balance that compassion with consistency.  She has very clear expectations and works with each student to meet those expectations.  Additionally, she is one of the first people to jump to the assistance of someone in need whether it is academically or personally.  Mrs. Valeski is a great person, role model, and educator.

Attention Builders Club Members There are a couple of important announcements.  #1  Don't forget to sign up to help out with Gator Day.  See Mrs. Buehler for a time to sign up. #2 Don't forget to bring Mrs. Buehler a 12 pack of soda this week. #3 There is a meeting on Thursday during A lunch in Mrs. Buehler's room.  It's not to late to sign up if you are interested.

Middle School Tennis Club will be meeting on Wednesday of this week.  If you have a racket, don't forget to bring it!  You can always store it in Mrs. Gailliout's classroom.  Hope to see you on the courts!!

Hel-looooo Book Club!  Don't forget we have a very important meeting this Thursday in room 413 to make Book Baskets for Gator Day.  New members are welcome! And don't forget to sign up to work our Gator Day Table!

The Girls Soccer Team is selling T-shirts for their senior night blackout game on the 16th of October. Thursday will be the last day to get a shirt. Please show your support by purchasing a shirt and coming out to the game.

All students staying afterschool to attend a club, extra help, weight room, you must have a bus pass from your advisor to ride the bus.
