It’s not too early to think about Christmas! The LIGHT CLUB here at Gateway would like to make Christmas a special event for children all over the world. There are many children who never receive a gift at Christmas. We are putting together shoeboxes filled with little gifts that will be given to boys and girls ages 2-14 in the United States and in other countries as well. Please consider donating small gifts such as balls, crayons, socks, stickers, toothbrushes, etc. or filling a shoe box with similar items. A donation of a shoe box is great too! All items need to be small enough to fit into a shoe box. Let's create a special experience for children that need to be encouraged! There are Christmas gift bags in homerooms ready to collect your donations. See Mrs. Wenner in room 416 with any questions.
The Race for the Teams has begun in the Middle School. The team who donates the most money by Friday will earn points for the pep rally.
