Gateway'S 1:1 Chromebook Initiative

We'd Love to hear your feedback

In keeping with Gateway Regional High School's vision of learning as M.O.R.E. (Meaningful, Ongoing, Relevant, and Engaging), Gateway has embarked on a plan to provide students with Chromebooks. The district is dedicated to providing students tools and experiences to prepare them for 21st Century Careers and educational experiences. In a society where information is instantaneous and technology is changing very quickly, there is a necessity to revolutionize teaching. The way information is delivered to and processed by students has changed. The 1:1 Chromebook Initiative seeks to bridge the gap between the traditional method of teaching and the fast-paced technological changes and communication methods of the world. Melding our teaching practices to the ways students receive information will allow students to compete professionally and academically in their post high school years. Furthermore, teachers improving the way they deliver information will increase their effectiveness in the classroom.
