Student Recognitions:

3/26/07 --Congratulations to Rob Williams, Alex Gormley and Ben Carotenuto for winning Bloomsburg University's Marathon Of the Mind competition this past Saturday. Ben and Alex both took third place honors and Rob won the second place prize of $500.

As a team, Gateway Regional took first place out of the twenty teams that scored well enough to advance from the original 80 that began the competition in the first round. As individuals they outscored more than 400 other students from schools in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The Marathon of the Mind is a competition that tests technology, math and logic skills. Congratulations also goes out to the math and technology teachers of these students.

3/26/07 --Congratulations go out to the Gateway Indoor Color Guard.  The girls received two 1st place trophies this past weekend at competitions at Pennsauken and Sterling High Schools.

4/17/06-- NJ JCL Convention Winners

4/29/2006-- The 2006 Academic Decathlon Team placed 8th out of 44 participating NJ schools at the Knowledge Master Open. This achievement ranks Gateway 136th out of more than 740 schools nationwide.

4/27/2006--The Gateway Regional High School Key Club was awarded the "Big Ten Award" for increasing its membership from around 40 students last year to about 80 students this year.

4/21/2006-- Gina Grant, an Eigth Grade Gold Team Student was the local winner of the Department of NJ American Legion's Safety Essay Contest.

2/27/2006-- Students of Mrs. Marygail Muller won the Gloucester County Consumer Bowl.

2/13/2006--Members of Gateway's Academic Decathlon took home a variety of medals at a recent competition.
