Miss Michelle Batiato is a head coach for three different sports at Gateway. She has been doing cross country and girl’s track also for 6 years, and swimming for 7 years. Miss Batiato plans to bring her cross country team and track team to the state championships, and take home a win. She attended Trenton State College and The College of New Jersey for her certification in health and PE. In 1997 she was a NCAA All-American in cross country. Miss Batiato not only brings her coaching skills to Gateway, she also brought the sport of Powder Puff football here.
Mr. Steve Pasquarello is going into the 7th season as the head coach of Boy’s Track. He went to Gloucester County College and Rowan University. He played two years of Gloucester County College Soccer and made All-Region both times. He never did play Rowan soccer due to a torn ACL. He lives in Glassboro and was just recently married in November. Some goals he has this year are to improve an athletic turnout, improve on team wins, and have individual athletes qualify for South Jersey Group 2 and State Sectionals.
