MEETINGS, NEWS AND EVENTS:

A Huge THANK YOU to all the students, parents, staff, & administration who attended the Bruster's/Nathans fundraiser on Thursday evening for Project Graduation.  We raised $175.00 for Project Graduation that evening.

Attention CHEER CLUB:  Our last meeting and pizza party will be next week. See Ms. Mangiocco or Mrs. Busch if you owe lollipop or t-shirt money ASAP.

Attention ART CLUB:  We will meet next Wednesday, May 28 and our last meeting of the year will be June 4th.  Do not forget that permission slips for the First Friday trip on June 7 are due to Mrs. O'Neill or Mrs. Sheehan by the end of the week.

There will be a BOWLING CLUB meeting TONIGH from 6-8.  See Mr. Cunning with any questions.

Hel-loooo BOOK CLUB!  Our LAST--that's right LAST meeting of the year is this Thursday.  Be there to say goodbye to the seniors, plan next year and eat some tasty treats!  And if you want to go on the trip to see "A Little Night Music", there's only 4 spots left!  See Ms. Desmond ASAP!

All students invited to the Spring VARSITY AWARDS BANQUET should return their money to Mr. Raba no later than May 31.  Student-athletes and guests will not be able to purchase tickets at the door.

SPORTS RESULTS:

TRACK NEWS:  Great job to the BOYS 7TH & 8TH GRADE TRACK TEAM on a great meet against Woodbury Monday.  Winning events were Patrick Dunn in Discus, Ryan Pote in the mile, Owen Cesarano in the 800.  Achieving personal best were Dan Ortner, Owen Cesarano, Eric Peraino, Noah Little, Patrick Dunne, Dylan Dunne and Nick Cann.  There will be a short practice for all 7th and 8th grade boys and girls so that they can receive there Ribbons and Awards for Personal best.  Great job.

The VARSITY SOFTBALL TEAM defeated Clayton 10-0 in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 1 playoffs. Alyssa Welsh pitched a No Hitter, striking out 10 and allowing only 1 walk. Alex Astorga had 3 hits. Kennedy Whalen and Erin Kirkbride each had 2 hits.

Congratulations to the FRESHMAN BOYS TRACK AND FIELD members for their performances at the Freshman Finale yesterday.  Danny Teschko had a great day with medals in all 4 events he competed in.  Danny won the Long Jump with 18 feet 3 3/4 inches, took 2nd place in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:02, took 3rd place in the Triple Jump with 37 feet 4 1/2 inches, and took 3rd place in the High Jump with 5 feet 2 inches for a total of 30 points on the day.  Justin Fredhoff also had a great day winning the 2 mile in 10:47 and took a 3rd place medal in the Mile with 5:03 for a total of 16 points.  Griffin Mills took a 5th place medal in the Javelin with a throw of 100 feet 8 inches.  Also, great efforts go out to Alyceo Perez, Zach Quick, Billy Marsden, Matt Masteroni, Rob Michaelchuck, and Nick Brett for their performances.
